Superb Stay!
clean room breakfast choices convenient location warm staff
I found the room very clean and well kept. Breakfast offered a wide array of choices, including both buffet items and cooked-to-order options. The hotel's location is convenient, providing easy access to nearby shops and attractions. I appreciated the warm welcome from the staff, who ensured a comfortable arrival even though it was late.
The Wi-Fi signal was occasionally weak in certain areas of the room.

dietary safety unprofessional behavior
Our group's seating request was dismissed without consideration. The staff member responded unprofessionally when I inquired about gluten-free options. I received a contaminated poppadom. It showed a lack of awareness regarding dietary needs.

A decent hotel stay
comfy bed well sized bathroom dirty restaurant carpets old carpets
The room had a very comfy bed. The bathroom was also well sized, it was great (I did appreciate that).
The restaurant carpets seemed a little old and dirty. I found this disappointing (though I might be too picky).

friendly staff great menu cooked options
the staff was friendly from check in through checkout. dinner had a great menu with good choices of starters, mains, and desserts. the room were clean and it was comfortable. breakfast included continental and cooked options too.

mixed feelings about this stay
i found the restaurant carpets to be quite old and dirty. the waitress was also loud and abrupt , with an uncomfortable atmosphere. finally , i overheard the waitress telling other customers that the staff hadn't received any tips since june , which seemed odd.

Nice stay
excellent dinner tasty breakfast comfy room
I stayed after completing the Speyside Way with friends. I can praise the staff for making our brief stay nice. We enjoyed banter with the locals over drinks from the bar on arrival.. Dinner was excellent. The dessert selection was a highlight. We watched Scotland versus Germany, and the staff let us use the dining room for dominoes after the bar closed.
We had a slight issue with the shower. The water pressure was not consistent, causing minor inconvenience.

The hotel is a good base for walks and sightseeing, with access to nearby trails and attractions, which contributed to a very satisfying and active vacation.

clean room fluffy towels fresh breakfast rude waitress unhappy staff missing tips
the room was lovely! it was also very clean with soft, white fluffy towels. breakfast was really good. it was freshly cooked to order. i ate dinner for 3 nights and it was very good.
The head waitress was rude with the staff, therefore making the customers feel very uncomfortable. we observed this too. It was almost to the point we felt sorry for the waiter and waitress. the waitress told us the tips were put in a box for all staff. they hadn't received any tips from june.
